Cable Laying up Machine JPD-1800 Drum type Twister 

1.Application:

The Drum Twister or Universal Cabler has applications that include the cabling of round and sectored power cables, closing of stranded conductors, assembly of sectored Milliken conductors, Wire Screening, Steel Wire Armouring, Fiber Optic stranding, Cabling and insertion applications as well as the assembly of multi-pair telecom and specialty cables.

2. The rotating take-up “drum twister” can be used for the following jobs in the cable production:

• Stranding/Lining up of insulated cables
• Stranding of copper or alluminium cable
• Stranding/Lining up of sector shape cables
• Screening with copper or alluminium wires Armouring with steel wires

3. Overhanging fork

• Fork with support rolls
• Integrated rotating caterpillar with support rolls
• In all the model both the pintles are motorized to hold the take-up bobbin always in the middle position of the fork and to balance the machine during the running.
• To load and unload the bobbin there is a hydraulic platform under the ground level.
• The Maximum rotating and linear speed, the Maximum pulling force on the cable are calculated each time with the request of the customer and according the production he has to do.

5.High production efficiency: 

Adopt new fork type structure for central rotary pay-off and rotary take-up. Adopt hydraulic lifting platform to load or unload drums. Such designs highly increase the rotating speed and simplified the loading or unloading process.

 6. Advanced electric control system: 

Adopt AC motor with frequency conversion speed regulation for pay-off stand rotating, taping device, caterpillar haul-off, take-up stand rotating and traverser. Adopt DC motor with imported speed-regulation device for take-up. Adopt imported PLC to command and coordinate the whole line, which ensure the synchronous running and the accuracy stranding pitch. Adopt imported 10.4 inch colorful touch-screen to display and set on line technical data, which is which is convenient in operation and maintenance.

 7. Easy setting of traverser: 

The traversing pitch can set, revise and display on the touch- screen. The left-right traversing, jogging and rapid moving also can set on the touch-screen.

 8. Rotary take-up: 

Adopt ring type with support roller structure for rotary take-up, which increase the rigidness and the reliability of smooth running. 

 9. Perfect safety protection system:

 Adopt horizontal protection for take-up and pay-off , resetting protection for hydraulic lifting platform, over running protection for traverser, tape broken and finished protection for taping device, safety protection cover, the lack of air pressure protection, power source protection for take-up with traverser and the fault alarming for speed regulation.
