1.The main classification of cable machinery：

The stranding equipment adopts different machines according to the structure and material of the wire. The introduction is as follows:
Mainly used for stranding of bare copper wire, bare aluminum wire and steel wire.
What data do you need to provide if you want to buy this kind of equipment?
First: the material of the thread and the structure of the thread. For example, if 19 lines are produced, its structure should be 1+6+12. If it is wrapped with 37 lines, its structure should be 1+6+12+18. The structure here refers to the innermost center line, the second Layer 6 wires, third layer 12 wires. Know the structure of the line to know the structure of the machine.
Second: the diameter range of the wire. Generally speaking, rigid stranding machine mainly produces 1mm-5mm mm wire. Due to the relatively high toughness of the steel wire, the diameter range of the wire can be expanded.
Third: the size of the wire reel in the twisting cage, such as PN400/PN500/PN630/PN710. Most factories use 500 and 630 type reels.
Fourth: Some factories need to produce special-shaped conductors when stranding copper wires and aluminum wires. The buyer must inform the supplier in advance that the supplier will increase the rotary compression device to meet the production of special-shaped conductors.
Fifth: The size of the wire reel for pay-off and take-up. Common ones are PN500/PN630/PN800/PN1250/PN1600/PN2000/PN2500 and so on.
The forms of take-up and pay-off mainly include end shaft type and gantry type.
End shaft type:
Sixth: Loading bobbin form, mainly divided manual, side bottom 45° and side horizontal loading.Among them, manual typeg costs are low. general producing 54 wire adopts side type.
It is mainly used for stranding bare copper, bare aluminum and steel wire, and can also be used for steel wire rope. Due to its fast speed, this machine is generally used as the first choice to increase production capacity, and is mainly used to produce cables below 19 lines.
Customers only need to provide the wire material，stranding wire quantity,bobbin size and diameter range to get an accurate price. However, if the buyer has special requirements and needs to provide more detailed information, for example, whether the steel wire is high-carbon steel or low-carbon steel, it directly affects the mechanical strength of the tube stranding machine. Generally, the machine for producing steel wire rope is better than the machine for producing cable. The structural strength should be strengthened.
Nowadays, most buyers purchase the tube stranding machine supported by large bearings. Compared with the traditional tugboat structure, it runs faster, more stable, and has a long life.
One of the keys to determining the price of a tubular stranding machine is its tension system. Most of them use mechanical tension, which is simple, stable and low cost. And another kind of hysteresis tension is the choice for companies with higher quality requirements
Mainly used for stranding of insulated wires, filling, wrapping and armoring.The buyer needs to provide the diameter range and the size and quantity of the reel, it is best to tell the supplier whether the wrapping and armoring function is required. General suppliers have these two kinds of equipment.
There are three types of cable laying machines, which are introduced as follows:
Cradle Laying up machine:
Traditional machines have a wide range of applications, mainly producing 3-7 core insulated wires. Although the speed is slower than other cable forming machines, the manufacturing process is mature and the wire quality is higher.
The main models are 800/1000/1250/1600, of which 1250 is the most widely used. In addition, according to the number of wires, the structure of the cradle is different. For example, to produce a 4-core cable, a 1+3 structure is required. If a 5-core cable is produced, 1+1+3 is required, and one center line is thinner than the other.
It is mainly used to produce multi-core insulated wire, but also can be used for copper wire, aluminum wire and steel wire. Also used for wire rope production or armoring equipment.
Another equipment that replaces the traditional cable forming machine is also used, one is the durm twister, which is mainly used to produce large cross-section round or sector cables. The other is the bow twister: it is faster than the traditional cable laying machine.
It should be noted here that if the buyer buys the drum twister, they need to inform the number and size of the cable. At the same time, it is necessary to inform whether the armoring function is needed, and the number of steel wires installed.
(3).The third step: wire extruding manufacturing processing.
Cable extruder is necessary to produce insulating layer. Its main classification according to the insulation material and cable type, using different types of extruder.

Physical and chemical foaming extruders
Most extruder for coating the wire and cable with thermoplastic cable materials such as polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, PE, XLPE, low-smoke and halogen-free by hot extrusion.
When the buyer can buy the machine, they need to provide the cable diameter range and the two basic problems of insulation materials.
Although the production of the extruder is relatively simple, there are many problems in the subsequent processing of the design, such as the die, grinding tools, heating mode and so on, which directly affect the quality of the cable.
There is also a very important point, because the extruder for electrical and electronic requirements is relatively high, buyers in the selection of machines, try to use Siemens, Schneider and other brands。
